Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Security Door Supervisor to oversee access control and maintain safety within our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring entry points, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors, and preventing unauthorised access. This role requires a high level of attentiveness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing suspicious activity and intervening when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements for reporting purposes.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, including providing first aid if required.
- Assist with crowd management during events or busy periods to ensure safety and order.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed to resolve security issues efficiently.
- Keep all security equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security surveillance, loss prevention, or related fields is desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques.
- Valid first aid certification is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognise potential threats or irregular activities swiftly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, or public holidays as required.
- Must hold a recognised security licence in accordance with local regulations.
