Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Events Head to drive sales and take charge of all events at Hurley House Hotel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong sales acumen, and have a proven track record in selling and executing high-end events.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Proactively generate leads and convert enquiries into confirmed event bookings, achieving revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and local businesses to drive event sales.
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel’s event facilities.
- Develop promotional strategies, packages, and seasonal offers.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and ensure all guest expectations are exceeded.
Administrative & Financial Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on event sales performance, identifying areas for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings, contracts, and sales correspondence in the hotel’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in event sales and business development within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or venue.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of the local market and industry trends is a plus.
