Overview

We are seeking an experienced or trainee CAD Designer specialising in warehouse & storage system design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate designs and schematics that optimise storage solutions and warehouse layouts.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative design team within a collaborative environment, utilising AutoCad as well as specific rack design software. The position is full time, it is open to people with experience in the same or similar industries and also to trainee's who are looking for experience and a career opportunity in a new role.

Specific product training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD models of warehouse and storage systems using software - AutoCAD
Create detailed schematics and technical drawings for construction and installation purposes.
Collaborate with project teams to translate client requirements into functional design solutions.
Assist in designed solutions, ensuring designs are optimised for efficiency and safety standards.
Ensure all CAD drawings adhere to industry standards and project specifications throughout the development process.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD.
Capability to learn or understanding of system design principles within construction environments.
Capability to learn or understanding of warehouse layout optimisation and storage solutions.
Knowledge of system integration within storage and warehouse contexts is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
