At Voyager Kitchens, we take pride in the craft. As a small, family-run business, we specialise in creating high-quality fitted furniture that transforms homes. We aren't just a production line; we are a tight-knit team looking for a reliable Factory Operative to help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

The Role

In this position, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process. You’ll be responsible for helping create our bespoke furniture pieces and ensuring our customers receive their orders safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepping of doors, including but not limited to; sanding and cleaning down.
Operating machinery to assist in the manufacture of furniture.
Handling materials and finished goods (please note: this role involves heavy lifting).
Assisting with the assembly and finishing of cabinetry.
Performing local deliveries to our clients and sites.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

What We’re Looking For

The Right Attitude: You are reliable, hard-working, and take pride in a job well done.
Physical Fitness: You are comfortable with the physical demands of a factory environment and heavy lifting.
Driving Requirements: A full, clean driving license is required. Due to vehicle insurance requirements, candidates aged 25 or over are strongly preferred.

Working Hours:

Monday - Wednesday: 07:00 - 16:30

Thursday: 06:00 - 16:30

Friday: 06:00 - 14:30

The ability to do overtime some Saturdays might be required too.

Job Types: Zero hours contract, Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour
