Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our family run occupational health business we currently hold the SEQOHS accreditation and a national small business award winner for 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive occupational health services, ensuring the wellbeing of employees across various industries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your medical expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing to workplace safety and employee health management. The role will be diverse and involve supporting across all elements of the business.

Responsibilities

Conduct medical assessments and health screenings for employees to identify work-related health issues.
Develop and implement health programmes aimed at injury prevention and wellness promotion within organisations.
Provide expert advice on workplace ergonomics, safety protocols, and risk management strategies.
Manage cases involving occupational injuries or illnesses, including coordinating treatment plans and follow-up care.
Collaborate with employers to facilitate return-to-work programmes and accommodate employees with medical conditions.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Stay informed about current developments in occupational medicine, public health, and relevant medical research.
Participate in clinical research projects related to occupational health when required.

Requirements

GMC registered medical practitioner with a licence to practise
Qualification in Occupational Medicine (AFOM, MFOM, FFOM, DoccMed or equivalent)
Must be HAVS trained: competency Tier 4 assessments & Oil & Gas: OEUK registered / Trained
Experience in occupational health practice
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Commitment to high clinical standards and patient care

Pay: £100,000.00-£130,000.00 per year
