Full-Time Tanker Driver – Join Our Expert Team in East Anglia
Location: Within 10 miles of Ipswich | Industry: Environmental Services | Sector: Sewage & Wastewater Management

Binder Ltd is expanding! We’re on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Tanker Driver (LGV Category C) to join our tankering team. If you have a solid background in driving vacuum tankers and want to be part of a company that takes pride in maintaining the UK’s vital water and wastewater infrastructure – we want to hear from you.

What We Do:
We’re experts in supplying, installing, maintaining, and emptying sewage treatment plants and pumping stations across East Anglia. Our work supports clean, safe environments—and our tanker drivers are at the heart of this essential mission.

The Role

Operate and maintain vacuum tankers on scheduled local routes
Work independently to collect and deliver sewage safely and professionally
Keep vehicles in top condition – clean, roadworthy, and compliant
Use handheld devices to log jobs and communicate via email
Assess on-site risks and always follow PPE and safety protocols

Responsibilities

Operate tanker trucks to transport waste water safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely service to clients.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure operational safety.

What You’ll Need

LGV Category C licence
Minimum 3 years' experience driving LGV C vehicles
Previous vacuum tanker experience (essential)
Full Driver CPC card
Fewer than 6 points on your licence
Strong customer service skills
Comfortable with digital tools (emails, handheld computer logging)
