Full job description

About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and professional taxi drivers to join our team in the Stowmarket area. The role involves providing safe and friendly transport services for a variety of clients, including regular school runs, local journeys, and contracted work within Mid Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out scheduled school runs and transporting local clients.
Providing excellent customer service to all passengers.
Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with licensing standards.
Following all road safety and transport regulations.
Handling fares and maintaining accurate records where required.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years holding a valid UK driving licence.
A current Mid Suffolk Taxi/Private Hire Driver Badge (or willingness to obtain before starting).
Good knowledge of the Stowmarket and Mid Suffolk area.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Desirable:

Previous experience in passenger transport or taxi driving.
Flexibility for both school run times and occasional evening/weekend work.
