Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Bun Decorator to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for decorating buns with precision and artistic flair, ensuring each product meets our high standards of presentation and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food presentation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Decorate buns with various toppings, icings, and edible decorations according to specific designs or customer requests
Ensure all decorated products adhere to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Assist in preparing dough and other baking ingredients as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the decorating station
Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure timely production of decorated buns for service
Monitor stock levels of decorating supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
Follow recipes and visual guides to achieve consistent decoration quality
Contribute ideas for new decoration designs and seasonal themes

Experience

Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or baking is desirable
Experience working in a kitchen, bakery, or restaurant environment is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential
Culinary experience with a focus on decorating baked goods will be highly regarded
Familiarity with various decorating techniques and tools used in cake or bun decoration is preferred
