As our Head of Service for Safer Partnerships, you’ll oversee our Safeguarding, Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding Adults Board Management services, working closely with the Safer Partnership Managers, to make sure people are supported to live the life they choose to lead.

You’ll also lead the strategic development of the service. You’ll work closely with Doncaster people with lived experience of seeking and drawing on support, and senior officers both internally and externally, to help shape the future of both the service and of wider community support, tangibly benefitting the lives of local people.

A relational, rights-based approach and a commitment to wellbeing in its broadest sense will come naturally to you. You’ll have the skills to turn your values into action. You will understand and role model the behaviours to lead in a complex system and be willing to work across organisational boundaries. Above all you’ll promote the human rights of the people we are here to serve. In doing so you’ll support the Adults, Wellbeing and Culture directorate to make best use of our resources and support high quality care and support in Doncaster.
