Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our Roads & Sewers team working on an infrastructure project in Conisbrough. The role involves a variety of groundwork duties including drainage and road construction. Duties will also require operating dumper and roller so tickets essential.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual with previous Roads & Sewers experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and has a strong commitment to health and safety

Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of groundwork on Roads & Sewers projects.
Install drainage, manholes, gullies and associated infrastructure.
Stone up roads, footpaths and hardstanding areas.
Lay road ironwork.
Prepare formations and carry out backfilling and reinstatement works.
Operate Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller where qualified.
Work safely around plant, services and live construction sites.
Read and work from site drawings and instructions where required.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and health & safety.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet programme deadlines.
Carry out general site duties as required to support the project.

Requirements

Proven experience in groundworks, particularly Roads & Sewers
CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket
CPCS or NPORS Ride-on Roller ticket
CSCS Card
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
Full UK Driving Licence

Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour
