Candidate profile (text) - Default language IKEA Doncaster DC are looking to welcome a Part-time Kitchen Production Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team. This is a fast-paced role for someone who is passionate about serving simple, good-quality food.

As a Kitchen Production Assistant, you will support in producing our meals in our busy co-worker restaurant - including our meatballs and hot dishes! If you’re passionate about great food, smooth operations, and creating an exceptional co‑worker experience, this role is for you.

WHAT WE OFFER

The Start Date of employment will be 21st of September 2026.
£15,736.50 per annum, 22.5 hour contract.
£10,491.00 per annum, 15 hour weekend only contract.
22.5 hours per week working 3 days over 7 including alternate weekends. Working rotational shifts of 06:30am - 14:30pm and 12:30pm - 20:00pm.
15 hours per week working weekend only, Saturday and Sunday working rotational shifts of 06:30am - 14:30pm and 12:30pm - 20:00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

Prior kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. You enjoy working in a busy role, where you will be multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our co-workers and external partners.
The kitchen is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety as well as efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to work and have fun.
Preparing for the next day's trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost-conscious way.
Following a cleaning schedule and making sure the cleanliness of the kitchen is to a high standard.
