Full job description

Doncaster Racecourse is a tradition that is hard to beat. Racedays at Town Moor have been drawing appreciative crowds for centuries and Doncaster has long been regarded as one of the finest racecourses in Europe and the best place for horse racing in Yorkshire.

After a £34 million redevelopment, racegoers can enjoy an amazing raceday experience at this world-class venue. At the heart of this new development is an impressive five-storey grandstand. The main stand includes stunning new private hospitality suites, a wide range of places to eat and drink, plus luxury dining experiences.

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Business Coordinator!

About the Role

As the main on-site contact, you will work closely with the regional sales hub, delivery teams, and clients to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and delivery of both racing and non-racing packages.

You will collaborate with the Business Manager to drive site-based commercial activity, present to clients, host client show-rounds, and coordinate with local suppliers. A key part of the role will involve selling sponsorships, hoardings, and annual boxes, while maintaining and presenting site-specific collateral to a high professional standard and ensuring all systems are kept accurate and up to date.

Some key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):

Drive sponsorship sales and achieve revenue targets.
Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Upsell sponsorship packages and generate repeat business.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements and commercial terms.
Coordinate sponsorship bookings from sale to delivery.
Act as the main point of contact for sponsors and clients.
Liaise with sales, operations, marketing, and finance teams.
Prepare contracts, bookings, invoices, and purchase orders.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and renewal schedules.
