German Autocentre is expanding and in the latter stages of aquiring additional premises. The company has 2 large bodyshops and fully staffed prep team.

We are looking for a motivated, experienced sales manager who is looking for a new challenge. Reporting to the business owner, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for enhanced status, responsibility and bonuses in line with the companies performance.

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Used Car Sales Manager to facilitate our growth and lead our pre-owned vehicle sales team. In this role, you will drive sales growth by managing the sales process, developing customer relationships, and implementing effective upselling strategies. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the used car sales team to achieve monthly sales goals and enhance overall performance
Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on increasing used vehicle volume and profitability
Build strong relationships with customers through effective communication, ensuring a positive buying experience
Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, including vehicle demonstrations and negotiations
Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions
Implement upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities on each sale
Maintain organized records of inventory, sales activities, and customer information for reporting purposes

Qualifications

Proven experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales or automotive sales management
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team
Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging customers confidently
Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of CRM software platforms for tracking sales activities and customer data
Familiarity with upselling techniques and effective sales management strategies
