City View Medical Practice is based in two busy GP surgeries and we are looking for the right individuals to join our reception team.
We are an inner-city training practices with around 15,000 patients in modern, purpose-built health centres. The surgeries are based in Beeston and Holbeck, there will be a requirement to work in both of our surgeries within the working week.
We are looking to recruit full time colleagues to join our existing team of reception/care navigators. The shifts will vary however they are typically based between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday, however this is a flexible contract so availability to work alternate hours would be required.
You will join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, who have an appetite for innovation and have been part of building a successful new primary care model.
You would be working within our Patient Services Area as part of our communication team, dealing directly with patients over the phone and in our surgery receptions. Some administrative work and tasks are also carried out by the team.
Within the role you will actively discuss with patients other services and other treatment routes that would be available to them which, importantly, may be more suitable than a GP appointment.
You should possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good computer skills, accuracy and flexibility are essential. Previous customer service is also essential however experience in a GP surgery is not required as full training will be provided.
Free onsite parking is provided at both surgeries.
The starting salary for the position is £12.21 rising to £12.52 after completion of satisfactory probationary period. From the date of employment you will receive a generous holiday allowance, access to NHS pension scheme and then other benefits will be accessible later in your employment journey.
