Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our engineering team. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of piping systems within various projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to our commitment to high-quality engineering solutions and play a vital role in our operations and willing to work away from home which may be for long periods at a time.

Responsibilities:

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems to ensure functionality and safety.
Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to piping systems.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices in all tasks.

Qualifications:

Completion of a relevant apprenticeship or vocational training in pipefitting or plumbing.
At least 2 years of experience in pipefitting or a related field.
Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid UK driving licence may be required.
