Beauty Therapist – Trainee Lash Technician
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced beauty professional to join our team as a Trainee Lash Technician.
This role is ideal for someone who already has experience working within a salon or the beauty therapy industry and wants to specialise in eyelash extensions and develop their skills further.
You don’t need to be an experienced lash technician — full training will be provided by our award-winning Master Lash Technician. We are looking for someone who already understands the importance of professionalism, client care, hygiene and working within a busy salon environment.
You will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced professionals, allowing you to develop your lash skills and confidence while gaining valuable experience with real clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up treatment areas for lash appointments.
- Assist experienced lash technicians and learn professional lash extension techniques.
- Undertake practical lash training and gradually progress towards performing treatments independently.
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service throughout the client’s visit.
- Carry out thorough client consultations and understand individual client preferences.
- Provide appropriate aftercare advice and answer client questions professionally.
- Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards.
- Help maintain an organised and professional salon environment.
- Support with appointment preparation and smooth client flow throughout the day.
- Assist with stock organisation, replenishment and general salon duties.
- Work as part of a team and contribute to a positive salon environment.
- Follow salon procedures and training guidance consistently.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience working in a salon, beauty therapy or customer-facing beauty environment.
- A professional and friendly approach to clients.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of salon hygiene and professional standards.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member.
Desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification.
- Previous experience with eyelash treatments.
- Previous experience working with clients in a busy salon environment.
- A genuine interest in specialising in eyelash extensions.
Previous lash experience is an advantage but is not essential. Full training will be provided by our award-winning Master Lash Technician.
