Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join us at R&R Groundworks & Civil Engineering LTD The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and supporting the efficient running of our operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating heavy equipment, including excavators and commercial vehicles. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor machinery, including excavators and other heavy equipment, to ensure smooth production processes.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.
Assist with the setup and calibration of equipment prior to operation.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all operational activities.
Support logistical tasks such as loading and unloading materials using appropriate machinery.
Maintain accurate records of machine operation, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow efficiency and resolve operational challenges promptly.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating industrial machinery.
Valid CPCS/NPORS
Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a challenging position that combines technical skills with practical application in a professional setting.

Pay: £18.00-£23.00 per hour
