Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fence Erector to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing fences on various sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction-related trades to develop their skills further within a professional environment.

Duties

Measure and mark out fence lines according to project specifications
Erect fence posts using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
Install panels, boards, wire mesh, or other fencing materials securely and accurately
Ensure all fencing is level, plumb, and properly aligned
Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Assist with site preparation, including clearing and groundwork as needed
Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation processes
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, or general construction work is highly desirable
Competence in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
Experience with fabrication techniques relevant to fencing installation is a plus
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Driving License is essential.
CSCS card is essential.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to diverse fencing projects while honing their skills across multiple trades within the construction industry.

Pay: From £160.00 per day
