Job Overview
Whites PHS Ltd is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and committed individual to work within its demanding, but friendly office environment , in order to assist the company in its main role of delivering plumbing and heating to the public. The successful applicant will be be hard working, motivated and have excellent customer service skills. The individual will be representing the company at the point of contact with the customers and therefore should demonstrate a professional manner, both on the telephone and in person.
It is desired that the individual can drive due to the location of the company, however there is free parking on site with monitored cctv.
The individual will have a broad role which will include the following, so a good knowledge of Maths, English and the local area is required.
- Answering the telephones and taking messages or dealing with questions that may be asked.
- Invoicing
- Liaising with plumbers and builders merchants and obtaining quotations and/or coordinating the ordering of supplies needed for upcoming jobs
- Booking in work ( once training has been given)
- Managing jobs within the diary and on our online system for the current and future weeks for the other employees work (full training will be given).
- Postal Duties
- Updating and maintaining the company databases, such as parts and service spreadsheets.
- Keep the office clean and tidy, including the w/c and kitchen area
