We own and operate six quarries across the South West, offering a range of natural stone products and bespoke services. We've become one of the most respected Quarry Masters and Masonry companies in the UK; working on a wide range of residential, historical and award-winning projects.
We are expanding our team and are looking to recruit a Quarry Operative/Stone Processor at Downs Quarry, Langton Matravers.
The hours of work will typically be 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday – Thursday, 7.30am to 1.30pm on Friday (40 hours per week)
Hourly rate of pay starting at £12.71. To be reviewed after successful probation and overtime may be available at time and half.
The primary responsibilities of this role will involve the guillotining of natural stone for various applications, and can be physically demanding. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. Additional duties may include operating mobile plant machines, general housekeeping, and basic maintenance of plant machinery. Candidates must be capable of following instructions, adhering to health and safety policies, and working effectively within a team environment.
