Location: Bournemouth/Hybrid - We will consider candidates located outside the Bournemouth area depending on location and experience.

Salary: £25k to £30k DOE

As we scale, we are expanding our compliance function and seeking experienced professionals to protect our growing network.

The Role

This position is based within the Compliance department of Mortgage Intelligence, a mortgage and protection network. You will report to Head of Compliance and act as a key contact for our advisers, managing complex queries, assessing business risks, and protecting customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assessing financial promotions
Reviewing introducers
Overseeing financial incentive schemes
Undertake Fitness & Propriety checks on firms
Complete welcome calls to new members
Issue compliance bulletins
Complaint handling and management
Carry out root cause analysis

This is an ideal transition role for those with industry experience in any areas such as advising, administration, banking, complaint handling, file review, financial promotions, policy, and vulnerable customers.

No industry experience? We welcome applications from other similar industries where you can bring a fresh approach.

Analytical Mindset: Sharp eye for detail to check documentation, analyse data, and produce management information (MI).
Strong Communicator: Confident written and verbal skills to advise internal teams, handle difficult situations, and conduct welcome calls with network members.
Delivery Focused: Organised, flexible, and calm under pressure to manage shifting priorities and timescales.
FCA Knowledge: An understanding of FCA mortgage and insurance rules.
Desirable: CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification.
