Full job description

Job Summary

Our Company is looking for a flexible part time Delivery Driver to work Wednesday - Saturday (4 days), carrying put the safe delivery of Fish and Frozen Seafood products to our clients with a high level of customer care and service.

Skills and Experience Required:

Have previous delivery/courier experience
Must be available for work Wednesday-Saturday starting at 7am
Safe & cautious driver, comfortable driving a LWB Sprinter or Transit Van.
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
Be physically fit and have no issues in lifting items that weigh up to 20kg, or getting in and out of the van numerous times of the day.
Possess good numeracy skills and have the confidence to collect cash/cheque payments when required.
Have a good grasp of the English Language both written and spoken
Live within a daily commutable distance to work
Be confident in their ability to deliver between 20 to 60 drops per day in a defined area
Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations
Have a valid UK proof of residency/right to work (UK/EU passport, Residents Visa, UK Birth Certificate)
To provide their full driving licence which must be registered to their current address.

Qaulifications

Must be over age 25 for insurance purposes
Proven experience as a delivery driver preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Good numeracy skills
Physical ability to lift & carry weights up to 20kg

Applications cannot be accepted from anyone who has:

Been banned from driving for careless, reckless or dangerous driving
EVER been convicted of fraud
Any unspent convictions for theft or violence
Unable to provide proof of right to live and work in the UK
Does not have the experience as stated above

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
