Full job description

Denbies Wine Estate is one of the largest vineyard in the UK is set in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an area known for its outstanding natural beauty. Denbies pride itself as one of the finest venues in Surrey.

We currently have an opportunity to recruit an experienced Hotel Head Chef who will be responsible to lead the kitchen team and deliver food across the restaurant, bar, weddings, and events .

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy environment with a motivated and passionate team and maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.

Skills and Requirements:

Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food
Develop menus, control purchases and wastage
Food Safety & Hygiene and Health & Safety Legislation qualifications.
Strong motivational and influential people skills
You will be an effective communicator and be able to integrate with other Heads of Department.
Write menus and emphasis on keeping with current food trends
An eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent brand standards.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Restaurants and Hotels

This Full-Time position working up to 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends.
