Management Accountant

£40k-£48k

About Noumed:

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our small Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will support and manage a broad range of activities gaining a deep insight into all aspects of finance.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring timely completion of all month‑end activities
Maintain and process all monthly journals, supported by robust balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage VAT returns and act as the primary liaison with external tax consultants.
Provide line management, guidance, and coaching to the Accounts Payable Officer, including stepping into the role when required
Review, analyse and maintain product costings
Oversee Accounts Receivable processes
Audit preparation and serve as primary contact with external auditors

About you:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

Fully qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
Experience working within a similar‑sized SME environment, with the ability to thrive in a hands‑on finance function
Advanced MS Excel skills including strong proficiency in formulas, data manipulation, and analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and insightful financial reports
Demonstrates calm, objective decision‑making in a results‑driven environment

This role is 100% site based at our Manufacturing office in Maidenhead. Mon-Friday, flexible start and finish times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
