Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable experience. Previous experience in hospitality or Cafe service is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Greet clients on arrival
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Handle payments accurately using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, condiments, and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow.
Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or a cafe environment is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to provide outstanding guest services.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory. This role offers an engaging environment where your hospitality skills can flourish.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
