About the role

Do you enjoy helping people, sharing local knowledge and being the person others turn to for advice and support?

Join the Welcome Centre team and help shape the future of customer services across the Isle of Man. Based between the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal and our new Regional Hubs in Peel, Ramsey and Port Erin, you'll assist residents and visitors with a wide range of information, services and enquiries.

You'll provide the full range of Welcome Centre services across face-to-face, telephone, email and online channels, responding to enquiries, processing payments and applications, selling transport and entertainment tickets, and providing guidance on Government services and local information.

A key part of this role will be supporting digital inclusion within our communities. You'll work directly with residents to help them get online, build confidence using technology, and access Government and other online services independently. This will include delivering one-to-one digital assistance, supporting outreach and in-reach sessions, and helping people overcome barriers to accessing services digitally.

Working at the heart of customer services, you'll connect people with the information and support they need, whether that's advice on Island attractions, travel services, Government services, digital systems, or local events. Drawing on your communication skills, initiative and customer-focused approach, you'll resolve enquiries, support service delivery and create positive experiences for everyone who visits or contacts the Welcome Centre and Regional Hubs.
