About Nuu Home Group
Nuu Home Group is an Ofsted Registered Supported Accommodation provider supporting young people aged 16–18, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC), as they prepare for independent adulthood.
Following the successful opening of Zion House in Dover, we’re excited to be expanding with the opening of Zoe House in Canterbury. As our organisation continues to grow, we’re looking for passionate, reliable and caring Support Workers who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a period of growth, helping to shape the culture, standards and day-to-day practice of homes built on strong relationships, consistency and high-quality support.
At Nuu Home Group, everything we do is centred around our core values of Nurturing, Understanding and Uplifting. We believe young people achieve the best outcomes when they have adults around them who are consistent, dependable and genuinely invested in their future.
We know this work isn’t always easy. Young people don’t just need someone who is kind—they need adults who are confident enough to set boundaries, remain calm under pressure and provide stability during difficult moments. We believe in building genuine relationships whilst maintaining high expectations, because preparing young people for adulthood means helping them understand responsibility, accountability and resilience alongside encouragement and support.
Successful applicants will be based at either Zion House (Dover) or Zoe House (Canterbury), depending on the needs of the service and, wherever possible, your preferred location.
We welcome applications from people with experience in supported accommodation, children’s residential care, youth work, education, social care and other relevant support settings.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting young people to develop the confidence, resilience and practical skills needed for independent living.
Every day is different. One day you may be supporting a young person to attend college or a job interview, helping them prepare meals or manage their finances. Another day you may be accompanying them to appointments, encouraging positive activities, supporting them through a difficult conversation or simply being a consistent adult they know they can rely on.
Working alongside colleagues and partner agencies, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
