Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Ashford, Kent.

This is a full time permanent role, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, worked between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm.

This role will be responsible for the effort and results of the financial department and overseeing staff day-to-day operations and accounting activities.

Duties

· Oversee all company accounts and investments

· Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts.

· Supervise and manage all financial department staff.

· Ownership of the month end process

· VAT returns

· Statutory reporting

· Ad-hoc projects to support the FD

· Review, investigate and resolve anomalies/variances

· Ongoing management of cashflow and cashflow forecasts

· Preparation of annual budgets

· Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.

· Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.

· Ensure that all financial transactions for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.

·Coordinate and lead the audit

Skills you possess:

· Experience of working in a busy Finance Department

· Qualified Professional

· In-depth financial knowledge

· Advanced Excel knowledge

· Experience of working in a fast paced & dynamic environment

· Understanding the importance of confidentially

· Up to date knowledge of pay legislation.
