We are an established hospitality operator with over a decade of experience running successful venues, currently. We are looking for a commercially minded part time finance to take ownership of the financial function and bring clarity, control, and insight to 2 venues in Whitstable and Canterbury
The Role
This is not just a bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the numbers and actively help drive profitability and performance.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing weekly cashflow reports and forecasts
- Delivering monthly P&L with clear insights and actions
- Monitoring and improving labour %, GP margins, and costs
- Managing payments and cost control
- Supporting budgeting and financial planning
- Identifying risks and opportunities early
- Working closely with the owner to support high level decision-making whilst taking full ownership of day to day decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Finance assistant / Bookeeper (hospitality experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong commercial awareness, not just reporting, but improving performance
- Confident working independently and taking ownership
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Solid understanding of KPIs (labour %, GP %, wastage, cashflow)

- Costs are controlled and margins are improving
- Full financial management of the businesses
- Decisions are made with confidence, based on real data
