Modulek is a well respected, specialist construction business, delivering high-quality modular and offsite construction solutions across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to join our Operations team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from tender stage through to completion.

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Contracts Manager to oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of contractual agreements within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, minimising risk, and fostering strong relationships with clients and suppliers. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to contract administration.

Duties

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including service agreements, procurement contracts, and partnership arrangements.
Ensure all contractual documentation complies with legal standards and organisational policies.
Monitor contract performance to ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
Liaise with internal departments to facilitate contract execution and resolve any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documents and correspondence.
Identify potential risks within contractual agreements and recommend mitigation strategies.
Provide advice and support to management on contractual matters and legal implications.
Coordinate with legal teams or external counsel as necessary for complex negotiations or disputes.

Experience

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial law, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Law, Business Administration, or related fields are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to contribute to organisational success through effective contract management while ensuring compliance and fostering positive stakeholder relationships.

A car allowance of £5,000 per annum is attached to this role

Work Location: In person at our Verwood Offices, with nationwide travel to Project Sites 2-3 days per week

Pay: £65,000.00-£72,000.00 per year
