Are you an HR professional looking for a varied generalist role where you can make a real difference? We are looking for a proactive HR Advisor to join our friendly HR team at Hillier, based at our Support Centre in Ampfield, near Romsey, Hampshire. This is a new permanent role, created due to continued business growth, offering the opportunity to contribute across a broad range of HR activity, while taking the lead on employee relations across the business.
In this role, you will work closely with managers and colleagues across the business, providing practical, confident and people-focused HR advice. Alongside leading on employee relations matters such as conduct, capability, absence management and informal resolution, you will support wider HR activity, including policy guidance, people processes, manager support, continuous improvement and HR projects. It is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong HR foundation who enjoys variety, wants to take ownership of casework and is ready to grow as a trusted generalist HR advisor.
The role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for home working of up to one day per week, subject to business needs. You will be based at our Support Centre in Ampfield, Hampshire, so you must be able to commute to this location. There will also be opportunities to visit other business locations, so access to a car is required; pool cars are available for business travel.
The role offers a salary of up to £36,700 per annum, dependent on experience.
