Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards while working in a welcoming setting. Previous experience is essential. We close Sundays and Mondays

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts
Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including assembling snacks or light meals
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
Restock supplies and ensure the workspace remains organised and inviting

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is desirable
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and warmth
Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
