About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Internal Sales Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting the sales process, and helping drive business growth.
This role combines sales administration with proactive customer engagement. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, preparing quotations, following up opportunities, and supporting the external sales team to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Prepare and issue quotations accurately and efficiently.
- Follow up quotations and sales opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry.
- Liaise with customers regarding order progress, delivery schedules, and product information.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Support the external sales team with lead generation and account management activities.
- Maintain customer records within the CRM system.
- Produce sales reports and assist with sales performance tracking.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a sales administration, internal sales, customer service, or account management role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong customer focus.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
