ROLE: Finance & Procurement Administrator
HOURS: 40 hours per week

We're looking for a Finance & Procurement Administrator who is seeking a dedicated opportunity to provide an effective and efficient financial administration service to the Prison.

- Process all bank and cash transactions, producing daily reconciliations of Prisoner Fund accounts.
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and ensure timely submission of returns to the Finance Department (HQ).
- Process invoices and travel & subsistence claims; prepare and process journals for prisoner transfers.
- Prepare daily and weekly journals to reconcile prisoner personal cash, wages, and PIN phone transactions.
- Relevant previous experience in an administrative role handling sensitive and confidential information, including pay and cash.
- Intermediate or better IT skills: proficient and confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Qualifications or accreditation to Level 2 or above: CSE – grade 1, GCSE – grades 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 or grades A*, A, B, C, intermediate apprenticeship, Level 2 NVQ, Award, Certificate or Diploma.
- Deliver financial administrative services in line with contractual and company standards.
- Administer all aspects of prisoner accounts with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise with the company's Finance Business Partner (FBP) to report relevant and timely financial information.
