Food Runner – Join the Team at Honey Pot

We are looking for hardworking, reliable hospitality professionals to join our team as Food Runners. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is always willing to go the extra mile for both customers and teammates.
As a Food Runner, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth and efficient service by delivering food quickly and accurately, supporting front-of-house staff, and helping maintain high service standards throughout busy shifts.
Our menu changes regularly, so successful candidates must be confident learning new menu items and communicating effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Previous hospitality experience is preferred, and experience in busy restaurant environments is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests
- Organise and read kitchen tickets carefully with strong attention to detail
- Check all dishes thoroughly before leaving the kitchen, including modifications, allergies, sides, and special requests
- Ensure dishes are presented correctly and match table orders exactly
- Ability to confidently carry a minimum of 3 plates at a time and/or carry large food trays safely and efficiently
- Support servers and bartenders during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout service areas
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables when required
- Learn menu items and daily specials to confidently answer basic guest questions
- Help maintain a smooth flow of service during peak times
- Follow all food hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures

- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience required
