About us
Scarborough UTC is not a traditional school, we are a college-style environment for students in Year 9–13, designed to mirror the maturity, independence and professional expectations of the workplace. Each of the 44 UTCs across the country have their own specialisms; the Scarborough specialisms are Engineering, Health and Cyber. The specialisms form the core curriculum at a Utc and take centre stage ahead of other curriculum courses. Our students choose to join us because they want something different, ambitious and future‑focused.

Located in Scarborough, we also serve the wider communities of Filey, Whitby, Bridlington, Pickering, Malton and Driffield, offering an exceptional educational experience for 13-18 year olds.
