Full job description

Job type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm (late opening Thursdays until 8:00 pm). Saturday work available.

About us

JRS Commercials and Cars is a busy garage based in Ballygawley, selling quality cars and commercial vehicles alongside a full servicing, repair, and diagnostics workshop. We're looking for a skilled mechanic to join our growing team.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Car Mechanic to carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of vehicles. This is a hands-on role in a busy, fast-paced garage, working alongside a friendly and experienced team.

Key responsibilities

Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on cars and commercial vehicles
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
Working to manufacturer standards and timescales
Keeping accurate records of work carried out
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
Providing a high standard of customer care and workmanship

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a car mechanic/vehicle technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
A full, valid driving licence
Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when working independently
A positive, reliable, and hard-working attitude

What we offer

Competitive salary of up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience
Full-time, stable position with a well-established local garage
Additional Saturday work available for those who want it
