Full job description

CSH design, build and install liquid cooling systems for direct to chip liquid cooling applications worldwide (AI systems).
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Fabrication and Welding Technician. This role involves working on various metal fabrication projects, specialising in stainless steel pipework. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing precise fabrication tasks, utilising a range of hand and power tools, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those with mechanical aptitude and experience in welding to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

MIG welding
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Conduct fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, and assembling.
Operate machinery and tools safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
Working in our Sheffield based workshop, 8.30am-5pm (no shift working), Monday to Friday. Overtime available.

Requirements

Proven experience in MIG welding.
Proficiency in working with various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with using basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Ability to operate machinery safely following health & safety guidelines.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Basic understanding of assembly processes related to fabricated components.
We are looking for potentially more than 1 fabricator, so the role is also open to improvers.

Pay: £14.50-£17.00 per hour
