Full job description

Location: Thurcroft
Hours: 22.5 hours per week | 3 days | No weekends
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience

TG Commercials are looking for a reliable, experienced and confident Accounts Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis.

We are looking for someone with solid accounts experience who can work independently and take responsibility for their workload.

Duties Include

Maintaining the purchase ledger
Preparing weekly payment runs
Credit control
Bank reconciliations
Assisting with the sales side of the business
Full end-to-end Sage Payroll – essential
VAT returns and submissions – essential
Finance agreement journal entries
General accounts administration and support as required

Requirements

AAT part-qualified or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' accounting experience
Proficient in Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
Experience with VAT returns and submissions
Strong knowledge of reconciliations, ledgers and credit control
Good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
Some knowledge and understanding of finance agreements
Right to work in the UK
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
