Full job description

Simpli Green Ltd specialise in the installation of energy efficiency measures mainly under Government led incentive schemes. The company has seen exceptional growth through our excellent reputation and word of mouth recommendations from clients and industry professionals.

The Business Administrator role is critical to the smooth and efficient running of the office. The role will involve direct contract with office and site staff, clients, suppliers and external stakeholders and as such, first class written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate will be highly organised, methodical and have excellent attention to detail. The role will require the post holder to work on their own initiative and would suit someone with an aptitude for problem solving and who can maintain composure and a professional outlook at all times. The role will suit a confident, energetic person who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys a challenge.

We are a small, close-knit team with a very busy workload. A positive nature, hard work and a sense of humour are key ingredients of the office. As we grow there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in the varied aspects of the business and be part of a successful team.

Responsibilities

· General administration and support to the Directors and office team as required.

· Email and telephone liaison with customers, suppliers and installers.

· Maintenance of database and project systems.

· Support in gathering and production of compliance documentation.

· Continuous improvement and implementation of processes across the business.

· Other general administration duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

· Proven experience in a busy office environment.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Professional, mature telephone manner.

· Excellent problem solving skills, able to use initiative and common sense to assist the team, clients and stakeholders.

· Efficient and exceptionally organised, meticulous planning skills, able to multi-task and keep focused in a busy environment whilst remaining calm and professional.

· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy.

Flexible “can do” approach.

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration or related roles.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Customer service experience with a professional approach to client interactions.

Good IT knowledge to support daily operational needs.

Previous office experience demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an engaging work environment where organisational excellence is valued. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute positively to our organisation’s success.

Pay: £33,400.00-£41,700.00 per year
