Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond? Are you looking for a position in which you can set direction and help shape our company? If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as Export & Customs Coordinator.

About the role

Working any 5 from 7 on an 8 hour shift pattern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the export operation. This is a blended operational and administrative role, where you’ll process customer orders, plan export truck movements, and progressively learn the customs processes required to move goods into the EU.

You will be responsible for:

Processing customer orders using DFDS systems
Supporting the planning of export truck movements
Learning and applying customs procedures linked to EU movements
Communicating with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination
Maintaining accurate records and completing administrative tasks
Supporting wider export and customs activities as needed
Ensuring all work is completed in line with DFDS processes and compliance requirements

No previous experience is required, full training will be provided. You’ll thrive here if you’re dynamic, innovative, and responsible, with a willingness to learn and the motivation to take ownership of your development. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach will help you succeed as you grow your knowledge in both export operations and customs procedures.
