Full job description

Cook / Kitchen Assistant — Cullen Bay Hotel

We're looking for a Cook or Kitchen Assistant to join the team in our busy hotel kitchen, preparing and plating food to a high standard.

The role suits either an experienced cook looking for their next kitchen, or someone earlier in their career with a genuine interest in food who wants to build their skills and take on more over time. What matters most is reliability, a clean and organised approach, and working well alongside the rest of the team.

The role

Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety regulations
Working with the kitchen team through service and helping manage stock
Supporting front of house to get dishes out promptly
Scope to take on more responsibility, and input into the menu, as you settle in

Useful to have

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant
A food hygiene certificate (Level 2), or willingness to work towards one
Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and techniques

Full or part time. Hours and wages negotiable depending on experience. This is not a live-in position.
