Sales Manager | Used Car Specialist | Gloucestershire (GL13 9ET)

Location: Gloucestershire (Site-specific)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Including Weekends)

Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 per annum (Base + OTE)

The Role

Are you a high-octane sales professional with "deal-maker" DNA? We are looking for a relentless Sales Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced Gloucestershire dealership.

This isn't a "sit in the office" role—we need a floor-walking, customer-facing leader who thrives on the adrenaline of closing deals. Your primary mission is to drive volume and profit. You won’t just be managing spreadsheets; you will be the heartbeat of the showroom floor. You are the closer, the mentor, and the backup driver when the pressure is on.

Key Responsibilities

The "Second Face": Personally engage with every customer before they leave the building. Support Sales Executives, overcome objections, and ensure no opportunity is missed.
Business Manager Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with the Business Manager to maximize F&I (Finance & Insurance) opportunities and ensure seamless deal flow.
Active Selling: Lead by example. When the showroom is buzzing or the team is short-staffed, you roll up your sleeves and take leads yourself.
Performance Driving: Manage KPIs, stock turn, and department profitability with a hunger to consistently exceed set targets.
Team Mentorship: Coach the team in real-time on the floor to sharpen their negotiation and closing skills.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a senior sales or management role within the automotive industry.
The Hunger: A proven track record of smashing targets and a genuine desire to over-achieve.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively alongside a Business Manager to ensure every deal is structured for maximum profit.
Flexibility: Must be fully committed to a flexible rota that includes Saturdays and Sundays (our peak trading times).
Resilience: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
