Veterinary Receptionist

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

General Responsibilities

Welcome clients and patients to the practice

Manage appointment bookings and diary scheduling

Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally

Process payments and maintain accurate records

Support the veterinary and nursing teams with day-to-day practice operations

Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the client journey

Working Pattern

40 hours per week

Opportunity to work as one full-time position or two part-time positions

1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:00pm

No out-of-hours commitments

Flexibility to provide holiday and sickness cover when required
