To support the production requirements and project deadlines of the business whilst keeping tooling manufacture costs to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Re-cut electrodes using CNC milling machines & manual surface grinders.
- Manufacture new electrodes using manual & CNC toolroom machines.
- Inspect electrodes using CMM and manual gauging
- Re-grind and manufacture new milling cutters using CNC cutter grinders
- Carry out assembly and Bench work tasks
- Consistently achieve targets set by Cell Managers
- Liaising with relevant departments on a regular basis.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety.
Key Performance Measures:
- Achieve target deadlines in line with production plans
- Reduced production down time by quick response to manufacturing demands
- Right first time and non conformance levels in line with departmental target

Person Specification
Experience / Qualifications / skills
- Proven practical experience within an Engineering environment is essential
- A recognised qualification, tool room apprenticeship or equivalent would be advantageous
- Practical machining experience is essential (ideally CNC and manual Milling, Grinding and Turning)
- Knowledge of CNC cutter grinding would be advantageous
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings is essential
