Press Brake Operator

Temporary Evening Shift – Immediate Start

2:00pm – 10:00pm | Netherton, Dudley

GPS Ltd is a successful family-owned manufacturing business and UK market leader in the design and manufacture of precision sheet metal products for the construction industry, ranging from rainscreen cladding and architectural metalwork to bespoke fabrications and specialist components.

We are currently looking to recruit a Press Brake Operator to join our team on a temporary basis, helping us support a busy production period and deliver some exciting large-scale projects.

Based at our factory in Netherton, near Dudley, this is a great opportunity to become part of a hardworking, friendly team within a busy and modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities & Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will support our press brake department, helping process sheet metal components accurately and efficiently to meet production deadlines.

The role will involve:

Operating press brake machinery
Working from job paperwork and engineering drawings
Handling and organising sheet metal components
Checking work for quality and accuracy
Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines
Working safely, efficiently and with enthusiasm

Our experienced shift leader will carry out machine set-ups, so whilst press brake operating experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.

Experience within a sheet metal or manufacturing environment would be beneficial, and we are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and hardworking
Hands-on with a positive attitude
Keen to learn and work as part of a team
Quality-focused and takes pride in their work
Happy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday
2:00pm – 10:00pm

Friday 11am-4pm

Overtime may be available where required.
