Midport Roofing & Cladding is looking for a reliable Roofing Labourer to join our team.
The role will involve assisting experienced industrial roofers and cladders on commercial projects. This is a physical, hands-on position and may involve early starts, travel and occasional working away.
The right person will be hardworking, dependable and willing to learn. There may be opportunities to progress and train as an industrial roofer or cladder.
Main duties
- Assisting roofers and cladders on site
- Moving and organising materials
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Passing materials and tools to operatives
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Helping with roof sheets, insulation, flashings and fixings
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Using hand and power tools after training
- Assisting with MEWPs and access equipment
- Completing other general site duties as required
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Comfortable working at height
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Willing to travel and occasionally work away
- CSCS card preferred
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Previous construction or roofing experience is beneficial but not essential

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
