Full job description

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and well organised Internal sales administrator to thrive and develop within the business during a period of growth.
Your role will require you to be fully involved in all aspects of the sales process including estimating, quotations, order loading, progressing and customer service.

Expect to build relationships with customers in this role, where you'll be handling live enquiries via email and telephone.

The role is varied, therefore essential skills for the successful individual include:

Able to demonstrate a commercial aptitude and common sense approach to daily challenges
Computer literate, competent with basic Microsoft packages
Numerate, with an attention to detail
Confident and clear communicator with a good telephone manner
Ability to learn quickly in the role and take pride in their work
A team player willing to support our existing team
Given our significant export sales, a second language (French, German) would be an advantage, but not essential

Requirements

Proven experience of working in an office environment (sales, production, accounts)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Organised, proactive and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for a well organised and enthusiastic person eager to contribute and be recognised for their effort, joining a small friendly team but being part of the wider Langley Alloys group of companies.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
