Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction-related skills and be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace windows in various types of buildings
Measure and cut window frames according to specifications
Ensure proper sealing and insulation around window installations
Work with a variety of materials including wood, aluminium, and uPVC
Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installations
must have your own tools
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in window/door fitting, min 5years experience
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Good physical fitness as the role may require lifting heavy materials and working at heights
A valid driving licence
