Full job description

Pipe Dream Fittings is a well-established pipe fitting supplier with a strong online presence throughout the UK.

Our warehouse in Brierley Hill DY2 is looking to recruit a full-time, permanent, reliable Warehouse Operative.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and seamless functioning of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
Light machine work including use of threading machines
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping.
Maintain stock records.
Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Waste disposal

Requirements:

Experience or license of a Bendi Forklift is highly desired
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A positive attitude and a commitment to quality work.

Working hours: 40 hours per week - 9.30am-6pm Mon - Thurs | Friday - 9:00 - 5:30pm
